This photo shows the 1929 construction of a home for newlyweds Jim Daugherty and Marie Fisher, at 2035 Edgebrook Avenue. Marie's mother, Barbara Fisher, lived next door at 2039 Edgebrook. The Fisher family once owned seventeen acres of farmland at this location. The Daugherty's lived in the house until 1959. Marie was the long-time organist at St. Mark Church and she also played at the Advent Episcopal church on Pioneer Avenue. The canine foreman in the foreground is Marie's dog "Sport."
