Brookline's Engine House #57 (now Truck Company #26) has served the community since 1911. The station is one of the oldest in the City of Pittsburgh. Shown here in 1998, this Historic Landmark remains much as it was over 100 years ago when the hoses were hung to dry from the tower and the firemen used draft horses rather than horsepower to respond to neighborhood fires.
