Despite the hardships gripping the nation, Brookline Boulevard is bustling with activity. Note the old-style trolley cars passing near Flatbush.
Here is the same look at the Boulevard sixty-eight years later, in 2004. The march of time has definitely left it's mark on Brookline Boulevard, but the old style buildings give Brookline a rustic look that has stood the test of time.
