The Brookline Community Center Field was the scene of a many events during the 1950s, including this Fourth of July Carnival in 1954. The event was sponsored by the Brookline Business Men's Association (Chamber of Commerce) and funds raised were used to subsidize a year-round activity schedule at the new Community Center.
