Ballfield Refurbishment - 2016

The infield and outfield will be resurfaced.

The Brookline Little League Association, in the Fall of 2016, invested nearly $35,000 to refurbish the Sam Bryen Little League fields and the T-Ball. Specially formulated dirt and clay was trucked in from Canada for the infields. The humps where the infield met the outfield grass were removed and the outfield grass sodded in the many worn spots. The fields were properly leveled and ready for the start of the 2017 season.

The results were so stunning that in the spring of 2017, the Little League Association followed up by repairing the infield of Danny McGibbeny Field on the lower level of the park. This was funded by a $15,000 donation from former Brookline Little Leaguer and owner of Target Freight Management Mike Wagner.
