This was the land behind the old Little League field. For years, landfill was added whenever available, slowly extending this area out into the ravine behind. Erosion turned this section of the park into a lunar-like moonscape with huge ruts.

The old red fence was the boundary between the Little League and Senior League fields. Visible are the debris and assorted other garbage that were dumped behind the fields. In the background you can see portions of the dirt cliff that stood behind the Little League bleachers.
