On Friday, August 10, 2012, the Brookline Recreation Center hosted the 7th Annual Brookline Breeze Week Car Cruise. Some strong afternoon thunderstorms threatened to cancel the show, but the skies eventually cleared and the show was on. The wet afternoon kept some of the Cruisers at home, but there were still quite a nice variety of classic vehicles lining the lower parking lot at Brookline Park.

Patrons were treated to some good cruisin' music by "The Bob" and some of Milan's almost-famous grilled hot dogs, along with several other tasty treats. Prizes were raffled off and awards were presented to the top three vehicles, as voted on by the crowd. It turned out to be another successful Car Cruise, and a great way to get ready for the adrenaline flowing for 31st Annual Brookline Breeze 5K Fitness Run/Walk and Mini-Breeze the following morning.
