Brookline Memorial Recreation Center
Girl's Summer Camp 2009

From August 18 to August 21, the Brookline Recreation Center hosted a Girl's Summer Camp for 1st through 4th graders. Each day, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the girls visited different parks and participated in a variety of activities, including GEO positioning, crafts, water sports, conservation, planting and a treasure hunt. They played games, threw water balloons and ate lots of pizza! It was a great time for all the girls who attended, and they learned many new and interesting things.

The camp was sponsored by Girl Scout Troop #59. The camp was directed by Center Director Michelle Underwood, Mary Ann McCarthy and Lori Coyne. Special thanks to volunteers Michelle Underwood Jr., Shannon McCarthy, Alyssa Brown and Casey Mizgorski.
