On Saturday, December 22, Santa
Claus and his merry helpers made their annual visit to the Brookline
Community Center. This year, as an added treat, Jolly Old Saint Nick
brought along one of his favorite reindeer, the one with the red nose,
Rudolph.
Guests were served a spaghetti
lunch, and afterwards the kids got to play games and work on crafts
provided by the Citiparks Roving Art Cart. Santa and Rudolph arrived
at 2:30pm and made their way around the crowd. Soon, Santa and his elves
were busy downstairs visiting with each kid and passing out individual
gifts.
A visit from Santa and Rudolph
is always a great way to celebrate the coming of Christmas. Thanks to
all of the volunteers who came together to help make this year's Lunch
With Santa another memorable and exciting day for the children in the
community of Brookline.
Citiparks and the Brookline
Recreation Center staff wish everyone a joyous holiday season.
