The 39-Brookline trolley car making its way around the Brookline Loop, ready to head back up Brookline Boulevard and on to downtown Pittsburgh. The Brookline Loop was located between Brookline Boulevard and the Community Center in East Brookline. The land was donated by the Port Authority to the city as part of the Brookline Park expansion in the 1970's. The ground were the Loop was located has been excavated and would now be considered the left field corner of what is today Danny McGibbeny Memorial Field.
