 Science Center

The Carnegie Science Center is located on the North Shore next to Heinz Field. Opened in 1991, the Science Center is one of the four Carnegie Museums and is home to the Henry Buhl Jr Planetarium and Observatory.

The Science Center hosts a variety of special events and exhibits, and the Omnimax Theatre and the planetarium are truly magnificent attractions. Docked next to the Center is the World War II submarine USS Requiem and the boat is open to visitors.
