The Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel, opened in December of 1959, stands at the entrance to Point State Park, in the middle of Gateway Center. The building, framed in gold aluminum, is one of the recognizable features in Pittsburgh's skyline. At night it shines in a pale green light, framed by the many skyscrapers that dot the city.
