Neale's Repair Service - 1943
Here is a photo of Neale's, a lawnmower, washer, and sweeper repair service center in 1943. Neale's was located at 107 Brookline Boulevard, at the intersection with West Liberty Avenue. It was a popular spot for South Hills residents to take just about anything mechanical to have fixed. Neale's slogan was "If we can't fix it...throw it away." (Left to right in the photo) Al Neale, son; Bill Neale, cousin; Grandpa Al Neale; Bill Neale, owner, and his wife Clara Neale. Click on the image for a larger picture. |
