Fourth of July Parade - 1962

Here are a few photos from the 56th annual Brookline Independence Day Celebration in 1962. The parade route had changed somewhat from the old days. Beginning at the American Legion Hall near Pioneer Avenue, the procession now headed east, towards the Veteran's Memorial at the Cannon, where a ceremonial flag raising took place.
