Moore Park's swimming pool was a cool place to be on July 26, 2008, when Citiparks held its annual pool party and water carnival. There were games and competitions held throughout the afternoon. The lifeguards provided hot dogs, chips and drinks to feed the hungry swimmers.

With the pool at Brookline Park closed indefinitely, the swimming pool at Moore Park has become the coolest spot in the neighborhood once again. Nestled in the rolling hills along Pioneer Avenue, Moore Pool entered it's 68th year of service in the summer of 2008. As it was back in 1941, when the pool first opened, Moore is still one of the Brookline community's best, and coolest, places for family fun.
