Moore Park is a busy place on a hot summer day. Many parents like to bring their little ones to the park to use the playground and frolick in the small pool by the water fountains. The fountains have been a mainstay at the park since it was built in 1939, and they are a big hit with the kids. Here, young Linda Dimitroff and her brother play in the fountain pool back in the summer of 1958. Note the Popeye and Muttley characters adorning the playground fence in the background.
