The Brookline Mural, shown in 1997, is located along the Boulevard loop, between Edge Vale Avenue and Pioneer Avenue, was painted by Jennifer Rempel in 1996. It has become the familiar welcome sign for motorists entering the community.

The wall was originally built during the Brookline Boulevard Reconstruction project in 1935, and stood bare for sixty years.

The photo below shows the Mural in 2014. The mural is maintained by the Brookline Area Community Council and Boy Scout Troop#6. Efforts are currently underway on a proposed refurbishment of the mural.
