These are photos from a Square Dance held at Brookline Elementary for the students in the Spring of 1947. In the photo above, the students are swinging their partners 'round and 'round on the ballfield adjacent to the school. The photo below shows the students just prior to the dance, marching out onto the field with the colors. It looks as though the 6th, 7th and 8th graders were having a grand time on this special day.
