On April 22, Earth Day '98, the 2nd grade students at Brookline School under Mrs. Patti O'Connor (Gardner), with help from the Brookline Area Community Council, held their 1st tree planting. A beautiful little tree was planted by the students on the front grounds of Brookline School. Mrs. O'Connor hopes to make this a yearly activity. Congratulations to the students for a fine gesture.
