Here are a few photos and a video from the 41st Annual Brookline Independence Day Celebration in 1954. Spirits were running high as this was the first July 4th festival since the signing of the armistice ending the Korean Conflict. The parade was followed by holiday festivities and the annual fireworks display at Moore Park. The photos were contributed by Gary Weslager, who is shown in the top photo holding the American flag.
