3rd Grade Class Project - 1973
Traveling To The Moon Through Reading
West Liberty Elementary School third grade students stand next to their “traveling to the moon through reading” display in March of 1973. The reading program required students to follow directions for reading and then to post a report on the book they read at each station on the display. After a student traveled through ten stations, he or she would be eligible for a “moon landing.” After reaching this point, the student receives a mini book.
