Here is a 1962 aerial view of the landscape to the east of Pioneer Avenue, where the newly constructed Our Lady of Loreto Church/School sits. Next door to the new church grounds, on the right, is West Liberty School. To the left is Elizabeth Seton High School. To the north of the new Loreto building is Joseph F. Moore Park. This is a nice, bird's eye view of this section of Brookline, taken long before Google Earth and satellite technology put us all in the clouds.
