12/18/17 - To my Brookline
Connection friends ... after a nearly three year absense, it's time to
return to our pursuit of Brookline history, the Brookline website and
our facebook page. I know it has been a long time since I have been
actively managing these endeavors. After eleven years of constant daily
editing and posting and researching with this hobby, as well as a
full-time job and several other activities, I found that I was in
desperate need of a long break. Maybe it has been too long, but I
always knew that my mind and body would tell me when it was
time to return.
So, with a new and refreshed
sense of spirit, I am back, and we are back, in business. Let's put
aside those rumours that the Brookline Connection is dead and forge
ahead in our quest to discover more of Brookline's rich heritage,
through individual memories, documents and photos. It will take some
time to get back into the swing of things, and some more time to bring
the website up to date, but rest assured I will be working on it and
striving to make it better than ever. Thanks for sticking with the
Brookline Connection and I look forward to interacting with you all in
the near future. Remember that it is you, the past and present residents
of Brookline, that are instrumental in making the Brookline Connection
what it is. This is your website and your facebook page. Without your
input we can not move forward.
... Sincerely,
Clint Burton
